StrongStep® Fetal Fibronectin Rapid Test is an immunochromatographic test that is used for the qualitative detection of fetal fibronectin in cervicovaginal secretions between 22 weeks and 34 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy. Positive results indicate an increased risk of a pregnant woman going into premature labor within 7 days. Negative results indicate that the risk of premature labor within the next 2 weeks is highly unlikely.
